Voyager Equity is a private investment firm, backed by experienced investors and business operators, focussed on identifying and acquiring a great medium-sized business in Australia.
Following the acquisition, Voyager founder Alex Simmons will take a direct management role in the business, and seek to sustainably grow the company while preserving the founder's legacy.
Voyager Equity is seeking a healthy, stable and profitable company, in a growing market segment. Of particular interest are those businesses whose owner is looking to take a step back from day-to-day operations and is keen to protect their legacy.
Turnarounds, distressed companies or other 'special situations' are not of interest.

THE VOYAGER TEAM
Alex founded Voyager Equity in order to realise his career-long ambition of leading and growing a great company.
Alex started his career in London, where he spent five years investing in small- and medium-sized businesses. During this time he worked closely with the management teams, and was seconded to an operational role in an IT services company.
Since moving to Australia, Alex has worked as a business improvement consultant, for clients across a wide range of industries. His passion and focus has been on front-line operational improvement, but Alex is also skilled in strategy and M&A.
Alex holds a BA from the University of Oxford and an MBA from INSEAD.
In addition, Alex is supported by a group of highly experienced investors and business operators from Australia, the United States, and Europe.
